Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction
Football Goal Coin (“FGC”) is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and all forms of exploitation in its business operations and supply chains. We believe in upholding the highest standards of ethics, human dignity, and corporate responsibility across all areas of our business.
Company Overview and Structure
FGC is a platform focused on blockchain innovation, digital assets, and community-driven engagement through football. Our operations are digital in nature, but we engage with third-party contractors, developers, suppliers, and service providers across multiple jurisdictions.
Supply Chains
Our supply chains primarily consist of professional services including software development, marketing, legal and regulatory support, hosting services, and outsourced administrative functions. While we believe our exposure to modern slavery risks is relatively low, we remain vigilant and proactive in assessing all partnerships for ethical alignment.
Policies and Standards
We have implemented internal policies to uphold human rights, including:
- Supplier Code of Conduct requiring all third parties to comply with ethical labour standards
- Whistleblowing Policy encouraging employees and contractors to report unethical conduct
- Anti-Exploitation Commitment embedded in all relevant service agreements and contracts
- Zero Tolerance Stance on forced or child labour in any form
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
FGC conducts due diligence before onboarding new suppliers or partners. This includes:
- Assessing geographical and sector-specific risks of modern slavery
- Requiring declarations of compliance with ethical standards
- Periodic reviews and audits of high-risk engagements
- The right to terminate contracts where violations of ethical standards are discovered
Training and Awareness
To foster an informed workforce, we provide:
- Training to staff and contractors on identifying signs of modern slavery and reporting procedures
- Regular updates on emerging risks in global supply chains
- Resources to raise awareness around ethical business conduct
Monitoring and Measuring Effectiveness
We are committed to continual improvement and monitor our efforts through:
- Tracking the percentage of suppliers that undergo due diligence checks
- Reviewing all reported concerns or complaints related to ethical misconduct
- Periodic internal audits and external reviews of procurement practices
- Setting clear objectives each year to strengthen our safeguards
Governance and Accountability
Our leadership team has ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with our anti-slavery principles. Oversight is maintained by a designated Compliance Officer who reports to the Board and ensures:
- Implementation and enforcement of policies
- Supplier engagement and monitoring
- Staff training and reporting systems
- Integration of anti-slavery considerations into strategic decision-making
Goals for the Coming Year
In the upcoming financial year, FGC aims to:
- Expand supplier audits to include at least 75% of third-party service providers
- Launch an online training module on ethical conduct for all new staff
- Review and update the Supplier Code of Conduct to reflect best practices
